Swanage bouncy castle injured children 'allowed home'
Children hurt when an inflatable slide broke from its moorings at a carnival have been discharged from hospital, organisers have said.
The slide, set up in Shore Road, Swanage, for the Swanage Carnival, came loose on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said nine children were treated at the scene - some were also taken to hospital and the minor injuries unit.
Carnival chairman Becky Mack said: "All those who attended hospital for a check up were released to go home yesterday."
The inflatable slide belonged to a private stallholder.
Dorset Police said the accident had been referred to the Health and Safety Executive for investigation.
The week-long Swanage Regatta and Carnival began on Saturday.
Ms Mack thanked the emergency services and the carnival's first aid providers and said the event would continue.
