A motorcyclist killed in a crash in Dorset was a doting father and family man who loved to help anyone, his partner has said.

Fabio Paixao, 30, from Poole, died in hospital following the collision with a car in Spetisbury, near Blandford, on Sunday.

Mitzi Hurley said he was a "loving, caring, do-anything-for-anyone kind of man".

"His son, Leo, says his daddy is the bestest daddy in the world," she added.

Mr Paixao was airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries following the crash on the A350 at 10:50 BST.

'Unconditional love'

Ms Hurley added: "He loved his bikes and cars. He loved to help anyone - even strangers.

"He'd talk to anyone - such an open honest person - that is what we loved about Fabio.

"Fabio, who was a dad, son and brother, lived for his family - unconditional love for all those close to him.

"We all will miss him so much. Such a shock and devastating thing has happened to an amazing man."

The driver of the Honda Civic car involved, a woman from Blandford, was uninjured.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
