A man has denied murdering a grandmother at the barber shop where she worked in Dorset.

Katrina O'Hara, 44, was stabbed at Jocks Barbers in East Street, Blandford Forum, on 7 January.

Stuart Thomas, 49, of Salisbury Road in the town, pleaded not guilty at Winchester Crown Court. He is due to appear on 11 July for a trial.

A post-mortem examination revealed Ms O'Hara, who worked as a hairdresser, died of two stab wounds to the chest.
