Missing Louis Harris' family 'desperate for news'

The family of a man who has been missing for almost two weeks have said they are "desperate for any news" of him.

Louis Harris, 18, was last seen at 04:30 GMT on 14 February after a night out in Weymouth.

A statement asked people to remain vigilant "as we continue to search for our dearly loved and much missed son".

Police divers have carried out searches of Weymouth harbour. Louis is white, about 5ft 10in tall and slim.

The statement, sent via Dorset Police, said: "We are sincerely grateful to the local community, friends and family for their tremendous support and help with searching for Louis.

"We are desperate for any news of Louis and ask that anyone who has any information regarding the evening, or Louis' whereabouts, to contact Dorset Police immediately on 101.

"Louis is a wonderful son, much loved by family and friends. He had just returned from university and was celebrating a friend's birthday in Weymouth when he disappeared."

He was last seen outside the Harbour Master's Office, on Custom House Quay.

He was last seen wearing a blue and white hooded Lacoste top, a white Fat Face checked shirt with a blue and red checked pattern, blue jeans and Vans shoes.
