Bournemouth petrol station armed raid CCTV image released

An image of a man threatening staff with a hand gun at a petrol station has been released by police.

The Esso Service Station in Charminster Road, Bournemouth, was targeted at 02:50 GMT on Thursday.

Dorset Police released the image of a man wearing a black hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and had a black scarf around his face.

He is seen holding a hand gun in his right hand and pointing it over the counter. Cash was stolen in the raid.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his late teens or early 20s, roughly 5ft 6ins tall, slim and with blue or green eyes.
