Weymouth flat death: Abdal Rahman Al-Rabia 'stabbed in chest'

A man killed in a seaside town in Dorset died from a single stab wound to the chest, police have said.

The victim, now named as Abdal Rahman Al-Rabia, 23, was found on Sunday at a flat in Bath Street, Weymouth.

Men aged 18, 20 and 43, and a 39-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder. Three of them were found injured at the property.

Mr Al-Rabia's next-of-kin in Jordan and Dorset have been informed. He was based in London and originally from Jordan.

The coroner has also been notified, Dorset Police said.

Det Insp Mark Samuel, of the major crime investigation team, added: "We are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident to establish the exact circumstances leading to Abdal Rahman's death.

"His next-of-kin are being supported by specially-trained officers."

A cordon remains in place at the flat while officers continue their investigations.
