Lyme Regis wall collapse death: Tributes to Thomas Telfer

A man who died after being crushed by a collapsed wall at a building site in Dorset has been described as a "shining light" by his family.

Thomas Telfer, 31, died following the industrial incident in Somers Road, Lyme Regis on Tuesday.

The father-of-two died after emergency services arrived at the scene.

In a statement, issued by Dorset Police, his family described it as a "tragic accident". The Health and Safety Executive has been notified.

"He was a much-loved husband to Jo and father to Clara and Penny, a beloved son of Lorraine and brother to Michael and Kirstie," the tribute said.

"Thomas will always be a shining light in the many lives he touched and his light will continue to shine through his children."
