Three people rescued from Bournemouth house fire

Three people have been rescued from a house fire in Bournemouth.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the blaze in Wellington Road at about 13:45 GMT.

A Dorset Police spokesman called it a "significant fire" and said several roads, including Holdenhurst Road, had been shut.

The fire and rescue service said the three rescued were treated by paramedics at the scene. It is not yet known what caused the fire.
