Reece James shooting: Mother forgives killers
The mother of a man shot dead in Bournemouth has said she forgives his killers and takes strength from her Christian faith.
Reece James, 21, was killed with a sawn-off shotgun at a flat in Roumelia Lane, in Boscombe, on 25 July.
Post-mortem tests revealed he died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
His mother, Michelle James said the family has been left "broken" by his death and described Reece as "a loving, caring individual".
She added the family's strong faith had held them together.
"The Lord forgave me, so I in turn forgive all those involved in taking Reece away," she said.
Reece James, also known as "Stylez", was staying at the flat in Boscombe when he was killed.
Kieron Wellington, 30, Wayne Stephenson, 34, and Keifer Hutchinson, 23, all from London were found guilty of manslaughter and each sentenced to 16 years on Thursday.
A fourth man, Jarome Parkinson, 25, also from London will be sentenced on 5 July at Winchester Crown Court.
