Two teenage girls have been attacked and sexually assaulted in a churchyard in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police have released an e-fit of the man who attacked the two 17-year-olds in St Michael's Churchyard on Poole Hill in the town.

The victims, who were together at the time, were not injured.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the churchyard shortly before midnight on 29 October.

Det Con Ken Todd said: "There is nothing to suggest that this extremely distressing incident is linked to any other reported sexual assaults in the Bournemouth and Poole areas.

"I understand that there were a number of people in this area at the time of this incident and it may be that someone, perhaps several people, will have seen or heard something that will help me with my investigation."

The attacker is described as dark-skinned, aged in his 20s, about 5ft 5in, of slim build and with spiky hair.

He was wearing dark coloured jeans, with writing on the back, a black top with white writing, a black leather jacket and a brown belt.
