Exeter waste firm fire tackled by 20 fire crews

A waste firm company's premises has partially collapsed during a large fire overnight.

Fire crews were called to Devon Contract Waste in Exeter shortly before 23:00 GMT.

Part of the building collapsed at about 03:00 GMT, and crews said most of the roof had caved in.

In total 20 crews were called to the scene along with an environmental protection unit, water bowsers and various specialist officers.
