Human remains found by police searching for a missing woman in Exeter have been confirmed as those of Bulgarian Gergana Prodanova, officers say.
The 38-year-old was reported missing on 8 August by colleagues after she failed to turn up for work at the Great Western Hotel in the city.
The remains, found on waste ground off Blackall Road on 16 August, were confirmed as hers following DNA testing, police said.
A man has been charged with her murder.
Ms Prodanova, who worked as a housekeeper at the hotel, was last seen on Sidwell Street in Exeter on 4 August.
Kostadin Kostov, 42, from Exeter, is due to stand trial for Ms Prodanova's murder. He is in custody.
