Woman named in St Minver hit-and-run death

A woman who died following a hit-and-run crash in Cornwall has been named by police.

Kate Bailey, 45, from Wadebridge, was found in a ditch on Trewiston Lane in St Minver on Tuesday.

A 50-year-old man from London was arrested by police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an a road traffic collision.

He has been released on police bail until 12 October.
