Alphington Road murder victim named as Stephen Crook

A man who was found with fatal injuries at a house in Exeter has been named by police.

Stephen Crook, 43, was discovered in Alphington Road at about 19:45 GMT on Thursday by officers who were called to the property. He died later in hospital.

Ryan Singleton, 25, from Coventry, has been charged with Mr Crook's murder and with possessing an offensive weapon.

Mr Singleton is due at the city's crown court next month.
