Rave in Torbay cove broken up by police

Police have broken up what they described as an all-night rave being held in a cove.

About 100 revellers were estimated to have congregated at Anstey's Cove in Torbay, Devon and Cornwall Police said. There were no arrests.

Coastguards said they were also involved in the operation at the cove between Babbacombe and Torquay, using lights to illuminate some of the area.

A boat was on standby in case anyone ended up in the water, they added.
