Cyclist killed in Sprytown Cross crash named

A cyclist who died in a crash with a car near the Devon and Cornwall border has been named as Thomas Brady, 41, from Lifton.

Mr Brady was pronounced dead at the scene near Lifton.

The driver of a Citroen Saxo car was treated by paramedics following the crash.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to Sprytown Cross on the old A30 at about 16:10 BST on Wednesday. The road was closed for eight hours.
