The funeral of a skipper who died after his fishing boat sank off the Devon coast has been held.

Geoff Ingram, 51, from Exmouth, died after the Sarah Jayne capsized on 11 September. Two other sailors were rescued after it sank off Berry Head.

Mr Ingram's funeral was held at Holy Trinity Church in Exmouth and money donated to the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

An inquest into Mr Ingram's death has been opened and adjourned.

The inquest will be completed once the Marine Accident Investigation Branch has analysed the incident.
