Plymouth history of Captain Robert Scott celebrated

A new exhibition has been created in Devon to honour Captain Robert Falcon Scott who was born in Plymouth.

The polar explorer and his team reached the South Pole 100 years ago, only to discover the Norwegians had beaten them to it.

They all perished on their return.

Plymouth City Museum has created the exhibition to mark the 100th anniversary of the expedition.
