Brixham murder suspect John Rudland remanded in custody

A 44-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering a man in Brixham, Devon.

The body of 50-year-old Terence Goldsmith was discovered by ambulance crews at a house on Fore Street in the early hours of Wednesday.

John Alistair Rudland, of Briseham Road, Brixham, appeared before Torquay Magistrates and was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Exeter Crown Court on Tuesday 1 November.
