An investigation has begun into the cause of a fire at a derelict school in a Devon city.

Twenty-five firefighters tackled the blaze at Southway Primary School in Plymouth after it broke out on Friday afternoon.

It was thought there was a small amount of asbestos inside the building and it was being dealt with, the fire service said.

Police said they believed the fire may have been started deliberately.
