Police involved in a murder inquiry in south Devon are trying to locate a knife and trace two men they want to speak to in connection with the death.

A 29-year-old man, who has not been named, died after an incident at a property in Kingsway, Teignmouth, at 1230 GMT on Monday.

Police said they were trying to find Reece Sicklemore, 24, and Lee James Webber, 26, both from Teignmouth.

About 50 officers are currently working on the inquiry, police said.

Mr Webber was described as 5ft 5in tall, of stocky build, with crew-cut hair and was thought to be wearing a grey track suit.

Mr Sicklemore was described as 6ft 2in tall, of thin build and wearing a chequered jacked.

Both men, who have tear-drop tattoos beneath one eye, were well known in the Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and Torquay areas, police said.

Anyone who knew their whereabouts has been asked not to approach them but to call police.

A 26-year-old man arrested on Monday on suspicion of assault remained in custody, police said.

The dead man's next-of-kin had been informed and a post-mortem examination was to be undertaken, officers added.
