Posters have been issued by police investigating two sex assaults on men in Exeter.

Detectives believe offences which took place on New Year's Day and the early hours of 9 January, may be linked.

The poster identifies potential witnesses who were near the city's Arena nightclub on New Year's Day.

Police hope they may have spoken to the victim of the first assault. The poster was created using CCTV footage taken near the club.

The location of the second attack has not yet been verified, but the victim was in the Arena on 9 January prior to the attack.

Devon and Cornwall Police are also looking for two items of clothing which are missing and may have been discarded in the Clifton/Belmont area of the city.

They are a white short-sleeved River Island shirt and a white fleece-lined long-sleeved top.
