Service tackles animal food fire near Exeter


Firefighters have tackled a fire on a farm in Devon in which 25 tonnes of animal food was alight.

Crews from Middlemoor, Exeter and Honiton were called to the Rockbeare farm, near Exeter at about 1000 GMT.

The fire service said that the fire had started in a farm building where the food was being stored.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was being investigated.
