A motorcyclist who died in a collision with a car in Devon has been named as a 46-year-old local man.
Father-of-two Nigel Mason, from Hemyock in Devon, was riding along the A3072 at Copplestone on Saturday when the collision occurred.
His family said that he was a "careful and conscientious rider".
They said: "We take great comfort in knowing that he died doing something that he enjoyed so much."
Mr Mason's Caroline said: "Nigel was taken from me so suddenly and was too young to die.
"He had so much to live for and was surrounded by people who loved him.
"Although he hadn't been in Hemyock long he loved our cottage and enjoyed village life and getting to know the community."
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
