Plymouth man goes missing after running from ambulance

A patient has gone missing after running off from an ambulance at Plymouth's Derriford Hospital.

The 21-year-old man, who had minor cuts to his arms, fled the ambulance at about 0630 BST.

He is described as 5ft 10in (1.77m) tall, of muscular build and has dark hair. He has tattoos on both arms, including a fish on his left arm.

The police said that people should contact them if they see the man as he is likely to be in a distressed state.

The man was wearing a black jacket, baggy blue jeans and white plimsoll shoes.
