Bank transactions have been made in Cornwall on the account of a Plymouth man who went missing a year ago.

Robert Charles Adams, 56, was reported missing in June 2009 and has not been seen or heard from since.

But police now said that recent financial transactions suggest that Mr Adams could be in the Newquay area.

Mr Adams is described as white, of stocky build and with shaven grey hair. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
