Husband questioned over double murder in Barnstaple

The husband of one of two women found dead after a house fire in north Devon is being questioned by police after being released from hospital.

The bodies of Neil Langmead's estranged wife Debbie Jones, and Donna St John, both 35, were found in Fortmead Close in Barnstaple on 22 August.

Mr Langmead, also from Barnstaple, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 40-year-old had been under police guard in North Devon District Hospital for more than two weeks.
