A teenager has been detained for eight years for stabbing four men in a gang fight.

Jobe Murray left one man with serious injuries to his groin and spine, while the others suffered cuts and slashes.

The two groups of men clashed on Charlotte Street in Normanton, Derby - near the A1 Snooker Club - on 8 May.

The 18-year-old from Alvaston admitted two counts of wounding with intent and two of unlawful wounding at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday.

Two other men were given suspended sentences for their part in the fight at an earlier hearing.
