Amy Gough death: Andrew Maling on manslaughter charge

A man who was arrested on suspicion of the murder of a woman has been charged with manslaughter.

Amy Gough, 34, died in hospital on 29 March after being taken there from her home in Sandiacre, Derbyshire.

The death was not reported until the following day, police said.

Andrew Maling, 46, of Sigglesthorne, near Hull, was arrested on 8 April and bailed. He is due to appear at Derby Magistrates Court on Tuesday 11 August, police said.

Derbyshire Police said they were not releasing the cause of Ms Gough's death.

Det Insp Graham Prince said officers would like to hear from anyone who saw Ms Gough between Tuesday 24 March and Sunday 29 March.
