The driver of a car is being sought by police investigating a suspected murder in Derby.

The victim, named by police as David Hunter, was found with serious head injuries near to his home in Fieldsway Drive, Breadsall Hilltop on Thursday.

The driver of a car seen on CCTV pulling into the street on Wednesday night could hold clues about the attack, police said.

Detectives believe the 54-year-old, who died at the scene, was attacked with a weapon shortly after he arrived home from work at around 00.30 GMT on Thursday.

CCTV shows two cars pulling into the road on Wednesday night.

Officers believe they have traced the driver of the first car and are now trying to trace the driver of a second "small vehicle" on CCTV.
