Firefighters from across Derbyshire have tackled a large house fire in Belper overnight.

The fire at the house on Milldale Court began at about 22.20 BST on Sunday.

It is thought the blaze started in a tumble drier in a shed before spreading to the ground floor, first floor and roof of an adjoining house.

Crews from Belper, Duffield, Ripley and Kingsway in Derby tackled the fire, which was put out just after midnight. No-one was hurt in the fire.
