Reward offered in 2008 Derbyshire hit-and-run case

A £2,000 reward is being offered after the death of a Derbyshire man in a suspected hit-and-run accident more than four years ago.

Paul Davis, 37, was found lying in the road near his home in Corporation Road in Ilkeston in the early hours of 10 August 2008.

Crimestoppers is offering the reward for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the driver.

A post-mortem examination showed Mr Davis died from internal injuries.

Derbyshire Police reopened the investigation in August this year.
