A memorial to a murdered Derbyshire taxi driver has been unveiled near to where he worked.

Stuart Ludlam, a 43-year-old father-of-three, was found dead in his vehicle at Cromford Station in September 2009.

In June this year Colin Cheetham, 61, from Ripley, was found guilty of the random shooting.

Mr Ludlam's relatives put up a plaque on a bench close to Matlock's taxi rank, saying the town wanted to remember one of its characters.
