A woman's death, which led to a man being arrested on suspicion of murder, is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The 41-year-old was found dead at a property on Queen Street, Aspatria, Cumbria, at 04:50 GMT on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination has now been carried out, which has shown that the death was due to natural causes.

Cumbria Police said the 50-year-old man arrested has been released, and no further action will be taken.

A force spokesman said a file was being prepared for the coroner.
