Workington car death pedestrian named as Audrey Tunstall

A woman, who was killed when she was stuck by a car in Cumbria, has been named by police.

Audrey Tunstall, 79, of Cape Road, Seaton, died in hospital after being hit at Dunmail Park, in Workington, on Saturday evening.

Another pedestrian, a 35-year-old woman also from Seaton, remains in a critical condition.

A 46-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has been bailed.
