Carlisle man jailed over for sexual touching of boy
A man who grabbed a 12-year-old boy and committed a sexual offence against him has been jailed.
Darren Malcolm Goode, of John Street, Carlisle, had earlier admitted sexual touching.
The judge at Carlisle Crown Court sentenced the 43-year-old to five years in jail for the offence, which happened in the city in November.
He ordered Goode to serve an extended licence of six years for breaching a Sex Offences Prevention Order.
Clare McCormick, from Cumbria Police, said: "Thankfully cases like this are extremely rare in Carlisle".
