Arrests over Carlisle petrol station baseball bat attack

Two men have been arrested in connection with a baseball bat attack at a petrol station forecourt in Carlisle.

The 32-year-old victim is recovering in hospital after being attacked by three men at Whiteclosegate in Brampton Old Road on 26 October.

He had his shoulder broken and suffered face and head injuries.

The pair were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
