Death of man found in Carlisle park not suspicious

The death of a man whose body was discovered in a Cumbria park is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The body of Christopher Greer was discovered on Saturday morning by a member of the public in Hammonds Park, Blackwell Road, Carlisle.

Cumbria Police said the 36-year-old man was from Brisco Road, Upperby, in Carlisle.

Mr Greer's family have been informed of his death, police confirmed.
