Police are trying to trace a convicted burglar after he breached the terms of his licence from prison.

Robert Phillips, of The Crofts, Silloth, was released from prison on licence on 1 October while serving a three year and four month sentence for burglary.

Cumbria Police said he had breached the conditions of his licence by failing to notify police of his address.

Anyone who sees him is urged not to approach him, police warned.

He has connections with the Morecambe and Manchester areas and may have travelled there, police said.
