Leamington Spa Sikh temple disturbance: Kulvinder Bir Singh denies charge
A man has denied destroying signs about an interfaith wedding at a Sikh temple.
Kulvinder Bir Singh, 37, was allegedly part of a protest involving more than 50 people at the gurdwara in Leamington Spa on 11 September last year.
Appearing at Warwickshire Justice Centre, the Coventry man denied causing religiously aggravated criminal damage. He will reappear on 24 February.
A second man, Gursharan Singh, 33, also charged over the protest, is due before the same court on 10 February.
Mr Singh, also from Coventry, denies assaulting an official at the gurdwara.
Kulvinder Bir Singh, of Tilehurst Drive, was granted unconditional bail by magistrates on Wednesday.
No further action is to be taken against the other 52 men who were arrested.
