Thieves take £20,000 worth of snakes from shop in Rugby

Snakes worth £20,000 have been stolen from a shop in Warwickshire, police have said.

The theft of the snakes, 12 tanks and money happened between 18:15 GMT on Tuesday and 09:15 on Wednesday at Rugby Reptiles on Hillmorton Road, Rugby.

Warwickshire Police said the thieves had forced entry to the shop.

They have issued pictures of the stolen snakes and are asking witnesses to contact them.
