A woman found dead in her Warwickshire flat has been named by police.

Shana Tanesia Cover, 34, was found in Morton Gardens, Rugby at about 11:00 BST on Thursday.

Det Ch Insp James Essex from Warwickshire Police said she was last seen alive a week earlier.

A 50-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of murder on the day her body was found and has since been released on bail, police said.

Mr Essex said: "The last reported sighting of Shana was on Thursday 14 August and she was found dead a week later.

"We need to try and account for her movements and whereabouts during this seven day period."
