Teenager remanded over pensioner assault in Coventry

A woman has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with assaulting an 80-year-old man.

The man was left with a black eye and bloodied nose after being punched to the floor in Trinity Street, Coventry, on 10 August.

Coral Millerchip, 19, of Wyken, was arrested in Gloucester on Friday and later charged with assault.

She appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court earlier and is due to appear at Coventry Crown Court on 25 November.
