The owners of the property were not at home when it happened
A cliff has collapsed under a garden balcony overlooking a beach in Cornwall.
Witnesses said it made a "right noise" when it came down in Newquay on Saturday at about midday.
No-one was injured and the owners of the house in Fore Street have been informed.
Sally Jones, who was in a nearby restaurant at the time and saw the cliff crumble, said she was "shouting at people and dogs to keep away".
She said it was a "shock" to see it come down.
"It was very quick and dramatic. Within a minute there were folk with dogs walking close totally unaware," she added.
Protect Newquay Clifftops, which campaigns to stop building on cliffs in the area, said: "This event is sad for our coastline and the only blessing is no-one was hurt."
