Foot found in walking boot in Lee Gilbert hunt
The remains of a human foot have been found inside a walking boot in a wood.
A dog walker discovered the body part in Nansavallan Woods near Truro at 17:00 BST on Thursday.
Although there has been no formal identification, the mother of missing Penryn man Lee Gilbert has been informed.
Mr Gilbert, 39, was thought to be wearing brown hiking boots when he was last seen at Truro train station on 9 June, police said.
Police said they were continuing to search the area and they have "found further items and personal belongings".
