A burst water main has left around 400 properties in Cornwall with no water or low pressure.

The pipe was reported to have burst at 04:38 GMT on Friday in the area of Bugle and Lanivet.

South West Water said it needed to wait for the nearby gas main to be isolated before it could repair the pipe.

The company said it expected to complete repairs and restore normal services by 17:00 GMT.
