Two brothers have been injured - one of the seriously - in a fall from a cliff in Cornwall.

Despite being hurt, one of them managed to make it into the resort where he flagged down a police officer.

Both men were flown to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by a search and rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose.

Falmouth Coastguard, the St Agnes cliff rescue team and paramedics were also involved in the incident at Perran Sands, Perranporth, at 01:30 BST.

Ken Bazeley, from Falmouth Coastguard, said: "The man had scrambled down and suffered some injuries, but he was able to put his brother in the recovery position and get help."
