Teignmouth man dies in Two Bridges A30 road crash

A man died when his car left the road in Cornwall and crashed into trees.

The Jaguar hit the trees on the A30 near Two Bridges, Launceston, at about 08:10 GMT.

No other vehicles were involved and the westbound carriageway of the A30, which was closed at Kennards House for several hours, has reopened.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the 59-year-old man who died was from Teignmouth in Devon. The force has appealed for witnesses.

Officers want to hear from a woman driving a people carrier who stopped at the nearby Plusha Services and may have seen the crash.
