A motorist who died in a car crash in Cornwall was "taken from us so young", his family has said in tribute.

Lee Skeldon, 27, and Christopher Williams, 21, both from Saltash, Cornwall, died on the A38 at Whity Cross on Friday night.

Paying tribute in a statement, Mr Skeldon's family said he was "much loved".

"Lee was a kind, thoughtful, hard-working lad" they said, who had "a great love for life".

The road was closed for an investigation after the crash involving Mr Skeldon's BMW 318 car. No other vehicles were involved.
