About 2,000 bikers have taken part in the 26th charity ride to honour a Cornish motorcycle racer, organisers have estimated.

Martin Jennings, from Camborne, was killed in an accident in the Manx Grand Prix in 1987.

The numbers were up on last year's event, which attracted 1,500 riders.

The Martin Jennings Memorial Run has become an annual event and is believed to be one of the biggest charity rides in the UK.

This year the event raised money for the BBC Radio Cornwall appeal which helps local charities.
